Join Our Senior Leadership Team as Vice-President of Evaluation!
The VP of Evaluation provides strategic leadership over Endeavour’s evaluation and insight functions,
shaping performance measurement, learning, and data-driven decision-making. This role champions a
culture of continuous improvement, enabling teams across the organization to understand their impact
and make evidence-informed decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic leadership
- Set and lead the vision and priorities for the Evaluation team, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals and mission. - Establish and uphold standards for evaluation quality, integrity, and usefulness.
- Ensure that evaluation findings are translated into clear, actionable insights that support learning
and decision-making across teams.
Evaluation and insight generation
- Oversee the design and execution of data collection efforts (e.g., surveys, interviews), ensuring
high-quality, relevant methodologies. - Supervise analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data to generate meaningful insights.
- Enhance evaluation frameworks, tools, and systems for greater impact and scalability.
- Guide the creation of clear and accessible dashboards, reports, and briefings for internal and
external stakeholders.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Build strong relationships across teams (e.g., R&D, Consulting, Talent, Alumni, Learning &
Engagement) to support their evaluation needs. - Co-design tailored evaluation tools to support each team’s strategies
- Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure internal insights meaningfully inform Endeavour’s
strategic plan and external-facing materials (e.g., annual report). - Share findings and insights with the Senior Leadership team and the Board, to inform
decision-making and demonstrate impact.
As Vice-President, you will also be responsible for general management and leadership functions,
including:
- Recruit, manage, and mentor direct reports within the division.
- Develop annual goals and support performance evaluations.
- Report divisional progress to the CEO and contribute to policy development.
- Participate in regular leadership and cross-functional meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous Endeavour volunteer experience is an asset
- Familiarity with the non-profit sector preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including program evaluation, data analysis, or
impact measurement - Proven leadership experience managing teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, including survey design and evaluation
reporting. - Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling
insights that inform strategy and drive action. - Familiarity with digital tools for data collection and reporting and experience with evaluation
frameworks is an asset. - Strong organizational and time management skills; detail-oriented and results-driven
- Minimum two year commitment
