We are looking for a Specialist in Talent Analytics to join our team.
Endeavour is a Canadian charity dedicated to providing management consulting services to non-profit organizations, empowering them to achieve their goals and create lasting community impact. As a volunteer-based organization, we believe in the power of skilled professionals coming together to make a difference.
We are looking for a curious, collaborative, and growth-oriented individual to spend approximately 2-3 hours per week (off-season) to 5-8 hours per week (peak-season) working with our Talent Management team. Reporting to the Director, Talent Analytics, the Specialist will gain valuable experience in, and is responsible for, the following.
Responsibilities:
- Volunteer Exit Interviews: Lead the coordination and execution of exit interviews with external volunteers during peak periods (Mar-Apr and Aug-Sept) to collect qualitative insights, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up.
- Insights and Reporting: During off-peak periods, consolidate findings from exit interviews and generate comprehensive reports to share with relevant teams. Provide actionable insights based on collected data to enhance future recruitment and volunteer engagement strategies.
- Generate talent analytics reports through various technologies (Excel, Salesforce, surveys, etc.)
- Recruitment Trends Analysis: Review and analyze past volunteer recruitment data, both qualitative and quantitative, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Present these findings to the Talent Management team to inform recruitment strategies.
- Automation Support (optional): Collaborate with Talent leaders to explore and support the automation of volunteer management processes where possible, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration (optional): Work closely with various internal teams (e.g., Marketing, IT, Consulting) to ensure a seamless volunteer experience from recruitment through to offboarding.
Qualifications:
- Volunteer Coordination/Management Experience: Interested in volunteer coordination or management, particularly in recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, and volunteer relations. Experience conducting exit interviews with volunteers is highly valued.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to review and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategic decisions, though this is a secondary focus.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with experience working with diverse and cross-functional teams.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft tools and Google Workspace; experience in automation of volunteer management tasks is an asset, but not required.
- Commitment: Long-term commitment (at least 1 year )to Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits is essential.
