ROLE

Endeavour is seeking Senior Evaluation Officers to join the Evaluation & Research Team. The role facilitates evaluation initiatives that assess and enhance the impact of Endeavour’s programs on clients and volunteers to support the organization’s continuous improvement. The team also maintains an updated database for Endeavour’s Key Performance Indicators, leads the Strategic Plan evaluation, researches and writes about issues relevant to Endeavour, and support all teams with bespoke data collection and research.

Senior Evaluation Officers work in either the Client Data or Volunteer Data Directorates, supporting their directors in the collection and analysis of data and in other research and evaluation initiatives.

The position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives, inform evidence-based strategies, and support excellent experiences for both volunteers and clients.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Evaluation Officer in the Client Data Directorate, your tasks may include:

  • Conducting client interviews
  • Ensuring data quality
  • Analyzing collected data and providing recommendations
  • Preparing reports and presentations
  • Assisting in presenting results
  • Contributing to evaluation planning
  • Contribution to drafting/revising data collection tools
  • Attending meetings
  • Supporting Director and Vice-President in other tasks as needed, including Research initiatives

As a Senior Evaluation Officer in the Volunteer Data Directorate, your tasks may include:

  • Administering consultant volunteer surveys and internal volunteer surveys
  • Ensuring data quality
  • Analyzing collected data and providing recommendations
  • Preparing reports and presentations
  • Assisting in presenting results
  • Contributing to evaluation planning
  • Contribution to drafting/revising data collection tools
  • Attending meetings
  • Supporting Director and Vice-President in other tasks as needed, including Research initiatives

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience collecting primary data (both qualitative and quantitative is preferred)
  • Experience analyzing data (both qualitative and quantitative is preferred)
  • Experience synthesizing results into reports or decks, an asset.
  • Familiarity with survey and data analysis platforms is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in nonprofit, volunteer-based, or client-focused programs is an asset.
  • 1-2 years commitment to Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits
