ROLE

Endeavour is looking for a volunteer to join its Research & Development Department as a Research  Director to contribute in conducting market and organization research, produce Endeavour engagement case studies, and develop organizational reports, alongside more generally to helping Endeavour achieve its research goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Research Director will be responsible for researching specifics related to Canadian non-profit sectors to better define and develop Endeavour’s offering. You will research past engagements and produce case studies of these as well as previous engagements. You will help develop internal reports tracking Endeavour’s impact metrics.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Research Canadian non-profit sectors to identify opportunities to improve Endeavour’s consulting services practice
• Study current and past Endeavour consulting engagements to produce case studies examining the issue and Endeavour’s solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities and leverage conclusions drawn from internal data analysis, sectorial research, and engagement case studies
• Create and execute various analytics projects to inform strategy and internal stakeholders; including the development of reports, dashboards, and presentations
• Develop and update reports showcasing Endeavour’s impact and annual performance

QUALIFICATIONS

 Required:

• Long-term commitment to Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits (preferably at least 2 year)
• Ability to collaborate and deliver results in a virtual work environment
• Strong motivation and initiative to take the lead in carrying out responsibilities
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage and promptly respond to daily email communications
• Great organizational and time management skills
• Eagerness to participate and learn

Preferred:

• Current/former volunteering experience preferred
• Analytical experience preferred
• Some managerial experience preferred
