ROLE
Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits is seeking a dedicated volunteer to join the Alumni Relations Portfolio as the Director of Alumni Relations (Consultants).
In this role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing a strong, engaged, and supportive alumni community of consultants – one that stays connected, engaged, and supportive long after projects wrap up. Your efforts will contribute to a lasting network of peers dedicated to ongoing learning, collaboration and continued impact for the nonprofit sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
- Lead and manage the Alumni Relations (Consultants) team, including recruitment, staffing, and maximizing team members’ skills and expertise
- Design, implement, and oversee programs and initiatives to engage and attract the alumni community
- Develop and manage the team’s work plan to ensure high-quality deliverables are achieved within set timelines
- Represent Alumni Relations team on cross-functional committees (IT, Marketing, etc.) to develop and implement stakeholder management strategies and frameworks
Organizational Contribution
- Oversee and maintain the alumni database using Salesforce CRM
- Collaborate effectively with other teams to support overall organizational goals
- Develop and implement alumni relations strategies that align with Endeavour’s long-term objectives
As a Director, Alumni Relations (Consultants), you will also be responsible for:
- Assisting the Vice President, Alumni Relations in planning, developing, and executing alumni relations programs and initiatives
- Participating in regular portfolio meetings to review and strategize on alumni engagement efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Proven success in designing and executing initiatives, events, and programs that engage alumni
- Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
- A passion for and interest in the non-profit sector
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage team members
- A proactive mindset in identifying and implementing new initiatives
- Ability to collaborate and deliver results in a virtual work environment
- Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred:
- Experience in alumni engagement, volunteer coordination, or community-building
- Prior volunteer experience with Endeavour
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
