Endeavour seeks well thought-out and detailed applications. Your application should clearly demonstrate your organization’s mission, programs or services, and describe their impact both quantitatively and qualitatively. The proposed project should have a detailed problem definition and project goals. We look for a good decision-making structure in the organization, internal resources and commitment to the project, and a willingness to execute the recommendations delivered through the engagement.
Absolutely, we strongly recommend downloading a sample application to review and pre-fill prior to starting your application. The online application cannot be saved partway through.
You must operate locally within Canada. Applications from international development organizations that operate and work with stakeholders in Canada (e.g. program or service users) will be considered. Note that preference will be given to organizations in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) since Endeavour volunteers are located in the GTA. If you are located outside of the GTA, please contact our Director of Client Relations at contact@endeavourvolunteer.ca before applying.
No, Endeavour does not provide any direct or indirect fundraising support. Our consulting projects do not include fundraising strategies, donor identification or donor targeting research, analysis or strategy recommendations. However we do provide earned-income (social venture or social enterprise) strategies that are focused on providing community social impact.
No, organizations are required to have non-profit or charitable status to proceed through the screening process. In order to be considered, your organization must have been in operation for at least two years, with demonstrable achievements.
If your organization is part of a larger organization, the application must be submitted by the parent organization which has board governance and decision-making abilities over the smaller organization. The parent organization must fulfill our $2 million or less budget requirement.
Endeavour is always open to opportunities to partner with our community to improve the capacity and impact of the non-profit sector. Please visit our Partner page to learn more about our partnership opportunities. From time to time, Endeavour runs corporate pro bono events that are also open to non-profit organizations with annual revenues over $2 million so be sure to join the Endeavour mailing list for updates on these opportunities.
Endeavour’s service is completely free and we do not charge any fees. Instead, we encourage clients who are satisfied with the consulting engagement to pay it forward by making a donation to Endeavour. Please visit our Donate page to learn more about how your donation will benefit future clients and volunteers.
