Salesforce Administrator

ROLE

Endeavour is looking for a volunteer to join the IT Division as Salesforce Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing a Salesforce application that plays a critical role at Endeavour. You will work as part of the IT team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs such as marketing, volunteer recruitment, client recruitment and management, sponsorship leads.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Organizational Contribution

  • Needs a solid understanding of the organization’s structure and its operations.
  • Provide support and resolve technical issues the volunteers encounter
  • Proactively seek out and identify required system changes
  • Enhance the system to increase benefits and usability, handle on-going customizations
  • Maintain user roles, profiles and hierarchies
  • Ensure data integrity by removing unnecessary fields and data, ensuring screens, fields and workflow have accurate names and reflect current workflow
  • Perform mass uploads and updates of data as required
  • Maintain, enhance and create workflows
  • Create new reporting capabilities and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Long-term commitment (1-2+ years) to Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits
  • Interest in non-profit sector
  • Understanding of the general concepts of Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • 2 or more years of Salesforce administration experience
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is desirable but not mandatory
  • Ability to take a lead on identifying and implementing new initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate and deliver results in a virtual work environment
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, to understand user requirements and suggest solutions based on diverse stakeholder’s needs
  • Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Endeavour volunteer experience
  • Understanding of client relationship management platforms
