Director, IT
ROLE
Endeavour is looking for a volunteer to join the IT Division as Director, Information Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing all IT systems, data and processes within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
- Lead the IT team, including identification, recruitment, staffing, and leveraging the knowledge and experience of the team members
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Develop and manage a team work plan to ensure quality client interactions and implementation ready solutions
- Representation in cross-functional committees (IT, Marketing, etc.) to develop IT frameworks, policies and procedures, as well as publish lessons learned
Organizational Contribution
- Manage day-to-day operations such as managing user accounts, maintaining corporate and board portals, supporting Salesforce CRM
- Manage and enhance the IT processes and systems including CRM, Cloud based applications
- Provide support and resolve technical issues the volunteers encounter
- Develop IT plans aligned with Endeavour’s long-term strategic objectives
As Director, you will also be responsible for:
- Assisting the Vice President in identifying, developing and refining policies and procedures relevant to your area
- Participating in regular division meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Long-term commitment (1-2+ years) to Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits
- Broad knowledge of Management Information Systems
- Understanding of current technology, tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, G Suite, WordPress)
- Interest in the non-profit sector
- Ability to engage in strategic issues
- Ability to effectively manage team members
- Ability to take a lead on identifying and implementing new initiatives
- Ability to collaborate and deliver results in a virtual work environment
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, to understand user requirements and suggest solutions based on diverse stakeholder’s needs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Endeavour volunteer experience
- Understanding of client relationship management platforms
- Familiarity with Google Apps, Salesforce
